COVID-19 UPDATE
General COVID-19 Procedures
Please read carefully to educate yourself with the steps we are taking to follow the latest guidelines from the Iowa Governor’s office in order to hold racing events. We hope you will all work with us in helping to maintain these new restrictions while you attend our events. We want to be able to continue to have racing events the rest of this season. But, we need your help to make these changes successful.
If you are sick or display symptoms of COVID-19, STAY HOME.
Covid-19 Symptoms includes (but are not limited to) fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, and diarrhea.

Proper hand hygiene should be followed before arriving at our events and continued throughout attendance at our events. Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds especially after you have been in a public place, or after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing. Carry a hand sanitizer with you at all times that contains at least 60% alcohol to use when soap and water are not readily available.

All attendees are required to practice social distancing at ALL TIMES while at our events, per the CDC guidelines. This includes (but, may not be limited to) when standing in line for tickets, entering the grandstand, pit sign-in, concessions, and restroom use. Practicing social distancing, or physical distancing, means keeping a space of at least 6 feet from other people.

We will have security on the grounds at our events to help us inforce the CDC guidelines. Anyone found to not be following these guidelines may be escorted off the grounds, no refund.
There is no pay-per-view available.
Grandstand Area
Per the Iowa Governor, as of June 1st, we are now able to open the grandstand to spectators at 50% capacity. In doing so, we need our race fans onboard in following the guidelines that have been laid out. We want, and need, to be able to continue to have fans in the stands in order to hold our racing events.
Exact change is required to purchase your ticket. Please have your money ready prior to approaching the ticket window to help in minimizing your time spent there. Advanced ticket sales are not available.
Remember, to follow the social distancing guidelines stated above when standing in line for tickets and waiting to enter the grandstand area. Groups of no more than 10 people are allowed to sit together. We encourage you to arrive together if you are part of a group.
Pit Area
In the effort of handling paperwork as little as possible, minimizing time spent at sign-in/check pick-up table, and not sharing touchable items – we have some changes in our pit area processes.
Please bring your own pen for anything that may require your signature.
As always, there will be no personal vehicles allowed in the pit area.
Exact change is required to purchase your pit pass/pay entry fees applicable. Racing teams are allowed to have up to 10 people at a time in their individual pit area in order to comply with social distancing guidelines.
Media is very limited, as we need to keep numbers down. In order to be considered for a media spot, please contact Carrie Rouse at [email protected] or (563) 249-1387 two days prior to the event. There will be no media admittance for those not on the approved list.
If you are bringing children under the age of 16 into the pit area a *Minor Release Form will need to be filled out completely prior to arrival and submitted at sign-in for each event you attend.
Payout checks will be available as soon as possible after the completion of a race. Please stop to pick up your check as you leave the pits. Top 5 finishers will need to provide us with 1099 information. Please bring the completed *1099 Tax ID Form with you when picking up your check. We encourage you to make copies to keep with you for other events.
*Forms can be found at https://drttrakracing.com/forms/
